The owner of the hotel, Meerim Karakozueva, has rented the building for a long-term period and repurposed it as a guest house. Since the beginning of its operations, Meerim has been guided by the principle of minimizing the environmental impact of the business. As part of its environmental strategy, the Art Hotel has already implemented a number of significant measures. The ceilings of the building were insulated with 100 mm thick mineral wool, which helps reduce heat loss. A class A+ washing machine and dishwasher were installed, significantly reducing water consumption. The hotel has also switched to energy-efficient LED lamps and introduced the practice of separate waste collection.

In addition, the hotel installed motion sensors to save energy, electronic chip keys to enhance security, partially replaced windows with PVC, installed air conditioners with winter-summer modes and upgraded faucets with aerators.
