Cooling buildings with heat pumps

Heat pumps operate on a unique technology that allows you to use the energy of the surrounding air, water or ground sources, providing the most economical and environmentally friendly heat or cold for heating / cooling of housing or other building objects. An excellent alternative to appliances installed instead of heating radiators are fan coil units. In addition to the function of heating, they can successfully perform the function of cooling in the right rooms: in the living room, study, bedroom or playroom. The heat pump, operating in reverse mode, seems to change the functions of the evaporator and condenser, it prepares not warm, but cold water for the fan coil system, while excess heat is transferred from the buildings to the outside. To extract excess heat, fan coil heat exchangers are used, in which the heat of room air is transferred to a heat carrier cooled by a heat pump - cold water (ethylene glycol or antifreeze).

There are two schemes for the operation of heat pumps for cooling:

  • systems with economical passive cooling - when the circulation pump transfers excess heat from the fan coil heat exchangers from the rooms of the house to the pipe collector into the ground or a reservoir, the heat pump compressor does not work;
  • systems with active cooling - cooling of the water entering the fan coil circuit is carried out using a compressor.

According to the first scheme, ground or water heat pumps can work. According to the second scheme - all types of heat pumps that use the energy of the surrounding air, water or earth.

Air coolers keep up with the times. One of the main achievements of modern air conditioners has been the use of inverter technology. Such devices are much more efficient, economical and more convenient to use. And the intelligent control systems that older models are endowed with provide even greater optimal performance. In addition, new climate devices boast rich functionality. They are able to purify, ionize the air, distribute it as evenly as possible throughout the room, thereby creating a pleasant and healthy microclimate. A variety of models from different manufacturers allows everyone to choose the device that is most suitable in terms of cost and capabilities. There is a large selection of split systems on the market, created using the most modern technologies.
