Osh State University took the initiative to renew cooperation with PUERTO in order to study target programs for the global "Tourism".

Today, the PERETO team, together with the project partner - the Academy of Tourism, is holding a round table at Osh State University, with the participation of the rector and faculty.

The purpose of the meeting: acquaintance, open discussion of common tasks and identification of areas for further cooperation.

One of the objectives of the PERETO project is to integrate the principles of sustainable production and consumption, resource and energy efficiency into tourism education. With the expert support of the project, one of the first universities to update the curriculum was the Academy of Tourism. Since September 2022, the Academy has been implementing a curriculum that includes the principles of resource and energy efficiency, as well as sustainable consumption and production, in project management.

PERETO expert Zhanybek Kulumbetov revealed the topic of energy and resource efficiency in the tourism sector, the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises and how these topics need to be integrated into the student learning process so that their knowledge and skills meet the requirements of business, time and the labor market.

The PERETO team is ready to provide comprehensive support and assistance to Osh State University, in accordance with the goals of sustainable development of tourism and HoReCa.
