At 3,600 meters above sea level in the village of Sary-Mogol in the Osh region of the Alai district, Jailoo "Tulpar-Kol" is famous for its pristine nature. The climate in this region varies; in the summer, it is chilly (the thermometer doesn't register 25 degrees), but the sun may burn you in a matter of minutes. In the territory of Jailoo, there are 42 small lakes and numerous springs.
Here Abdyrazak Nishanov set up a yurt camp "Lenin Peak". And in the neighboring village Nishanov built a guest house with all amenities.
Usually the yurt season lasts from June to the end of September. The permanent clients of Lenin Peak are climbers and tourists from all over the world: America, Europe, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Germany, Russia. Of course, the Kyrgyz themselves also come.
"Kyrgyzstan is becoming a very popular destination for tourists from all over the world. After a visit to Issyk-Kul, they come to us, to Lenin Peak. This year was a good tourist season, we had guests every day. Guests speak of Kyrgyzstan as a very friendly and hospitable country," says Nishanov.
Tourists really appreciate the pristine beauty of our mountains. And Nishanov has managed to create comfort for them.
The businessman implemented energy and resource-saving measures based on the advice of Nurlan Irisov, a PERETO project consultant in Osh region. Since there are no power lines in the area of the yurt village, he installed a mobile solar power plant with a 660 W capacity for lighting and other needs. There is also a solar collector for hot water supply, an eco-toilet, and solid waste garbage cans for household waste. In addition, the entrepreneur installed eight yurts with wooden floors that reach a height of 15 cm, which provides warmth within the yurt and, more importantly, does not harm the flora.
Abdyrazak Nishanov said: "We previously had a solar collector, which we had imported from China in 2017, but we were unable to install it until Nurlan Irisov gave us advice on how to connect it. The shower now functions flawlessly, and hot water is always available. Along with saving electricity, we replaced all the light bulbs with energy-efficient ones. I consider it an achievement that we have an ecosan toilet, commonly known as a dry toilet or an ecological sanitation system. I had a five-year interest in this technology, studied videos on YouTube, and eventually won a contest to install it. Since there is no unpleasant smell, we are satisfied. The garbage is separated into different containers to prevent it from getting into the soil and the groundwater. Additionally, it can be utilized as fertilizer after drying and turning into ash. Our objective is to protect the environment and make money without causing any harm to it."
The owner of the Lenin Peak Yurt Campus intends to establish a small shower treatment facility in the future.
According to specialists, the village of Sary-Mogol is among the coldest areas in our republic. PERETO strongly recommended constructing RES and completely insulating homes on the territory of tourist attractions.
