This tourist facility was built in ethnic style, occupies 3 floors and can accommodate about 25 guests. The hotel started working in May of this year, the main customers are residents of Kyrgyzstan and foreign tourists.
The owner of the hotel Kubanychbek Kachkynbaev said that he took part in the PERETO training for the tourism sector in Jalal-Abad in 2021. At the training, he became interested in "green" technologies and immediately turned to the project consultant Asylbek Abdykadyrov for help.
“At the time of the training, we were doing facade work, I didn’t know how to properly insulate, there was only 1 layer of brick. Consultant Asylbek suggested a better way to carry out construction and installation work. Now we have a comfortable temperature in the room on all floors,” Kubanychbek Kachkynbaev shared.
The facade was insulated with 5 cm thick basalt at the facility. All lighting was replaced with energy efficient ones. Now it is planned to insulate the roof of the attic.
The owner of the tourist facility intends to continue introducing "green" technologies: sorting of waste from bottles, metal, cardboard, paper is already underway. Batteries are also stored separately.
“We need to take care of the environment, protect it, if not we will do it, then who will? Every business should have a minimal impact on the environment and have a positive impact on people. Recently, tourists from Switzerland visited, when they noticed that we were sorting garbage, they were very surprised. They said that for the first time they see this in Kyrgyzstan. It turns out that in Switzerland sorting garbage is as natural as brushing your teeth. Tourists praised us for a conscious approach to consumption,” said the owner of the Good night hotel.
PERETO consultant Asylbek Abdykadyrov also recommended that the Good night hotel install solar panels, a gas boiler, and if necessary, you can apply to Dos Kredobank. The Bank's consultants are also ready to assist: we recall the joint product of PERETO, Unison Group and Dos Kredobank "green'' loan "Eco-tourism", aimed at the development of the tourism sector and the introduction of energy-efficient and resource-saving technologies.
