A 75 kWh micro-hydro power plant that runs year-round supplies the recreation center with electricity. Pumps from the nearby high-mountain river provide water. Local septic tanks are used for dirty and sewage water. Thus, the hotel and banquet hall are equipped with 100-liter water heaters and energy-efficient lighting.

Nurlan Irisov said," Among the problems, I would like to draw attention to seasonal work, the building's antiquated interior and exterior, the lack of ventilation and air conditioning, and a treatment facility."

The PERETO consultant also suggested adding a card system and chip switches when remodeling the hotel structure, as well as installing:

• energy-saving lighting;
• motion detectors in the corridors and on the staircase;

• sensor faucets and aerators;
• wastewater treatment plant and heat pump for heating
• solid waste separation bins.

It is necessary to install hoods and dishwashers and insulate the walls, floor, and ceiling separately for the kitchen annex.

The hotel rooms will be broader after the renovation. The banquet hall can be converted into a conference room at the client's request. Belek's owners intend to work all year long and provide services at a higher quality than before.
