Wall insulation as a budget-friendly solution for heat conservation. in HoReCa premises as the way not to burn through money and heat (Kyrgyzstan)

"It is impossible to imagine a building, which has no heating system to maintain the comfortable temperature. Usually heating systems are often expensive, and thus, more budget-friendly solutions are interesting to the SMEs. According to the calculations, walls absorb 40-55% of the heat, which makes wall insulation a good option to reduce heat loss and expenses. And plus, there is a large variety of thermal insulation materials at an affordable price.

A small two-storied hotel owner in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, Edil Kurenkeev, insulated the building with sandwich panels (150 mm).

Sandwich panel is a construction material that has a three-layer structure. It consists of two sheets (metal, PVC, fiberboard, magnesite plate) and an insulation between the layers. All parts of the sandwich panel are glued by applying hot or cold pressing.

BENEFIT

After the completion of reconstruction energy consumption for heating was reduced by 25%. The building saves more than 5 MWh per year. Reconstruction also affected CO2 emissions reduction by 1.1 tons."
